Claim and Verify Your Medical Course eCards

Within ten days of completing a Medcourse class, you will receive an email from [email protected] to verify that we have your correct email address. The American Heart Association's [email protected] will send you an email shortly after the one from Medcourse with a link inviting you to claim your eCard online. If you don't see this email, please be sure to check your spam folder. You will see a separate email for each card if you are anticipating more than one (such as ACLS and BLS).

You can also claim your card directly at https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards. Enter your first name, last name, and the email you provided on the course roster for your class. This will allow you to access all your eCards.

Lost or Missing Cards

If you lost your card or never received it, try retrieving it at https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards. If you are not successful, don’t panic! Send an email to [email protected]. Tell us your full name, where, and when you took your class. We can help you retrieve your card.

Name Changes

When you claim your card, you will have the chance to request that Medcourse correct any spelling errors. If you change your name after you have already claimed your card, send an email to [email protected] with the name as it appears on the card you were issued and the change you would like. We’ll handle it for you!

Employer Verification

Medcourse provides employers with a list of eCodes for cards issued in a workplace. Once students have claimed their eCards, they can be verified at https://ecards.heart.org/student/myecards. Select the “Employer” tab under the eCard Search banner. Enter each eCard code (up to 20 cards) on a separate line and click “verify.” From the results page, select all or some of the records and click “download eCards” to download a .zip file containing copies of all the eCards selected.
